BTX Capital is governed by a board of four directors. Two are independent non-executives, including the chairperson. The board sets strategy, oversees risk and compliance, and is accountable for how the firm is run. The board has two committees: an Investment Committee, and an Audit and Risk Committee chaired by an independent non-executive director.

A CPA (K) with more than twenty years of senior financial leadership across multinational FMCG, industrial and service businesses, with direct experience in financial controls, treasury and risk governance, and external audit oversight. Currently Head of Finance and Supply Chain Management at Guala Closures East Africa, and an adjunct lecturer in strategic management and supply chain at United States International University Africa. Holds a DBA and an MBA in Strategic Management from USIU Africa and a BCom in Accounting from the University of Nairobi. Member of the Institute of Directors (Kenya).
Dr. Peter O. Onyango
Executive DirectorChairs the firm's Investment Committee, and is chair of the Virtual Assets Association of Kenya. Formerly Chief Executive Officer of Investcent Investment Bank, and before that Principal Specialist for Risk and Stress Testing at the Capital Markets Authority, leading the launch of East Africa's first exchange-traded derivatives market. Earlier, Market Risk Manager at KCB Bank Group. Holds a DBA in Finance from United States International University Africa. A Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst, a member of the ACI Financial Markets Association holding its Dealing and Operations certificates, and a member of the Institute of Directors (Kenya).
FCPA Hesbon Omollo
Executive DirectorManaging Partner and Lead Partner for Tax at Bon & Drew Associates. Holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Salford and a BCom in Accounting and Finance from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
Dr. FCPA Risper A. Olick
Independent Non-Executive DirectorChairs the firm's Audit and Risk Committee. An FCPA and Certified Secretary. Also serves as an independent director of the Kenya Revenue Authority and as a council member of the Media Council of Kenya.
